My Podcast! :)

P.S.: I attempted to correct the audio by using other programs to boost it up!

So there's my podcast on how to make a jumping frog out of an index card. Here are some notes on it regarding the techniques that I used:
  • No music: I felt that this would be distracting from my words and I want the focus to be on the steps so that they are easier to follow.
  • Image: I used an image for the materials with a text description on it so that students can clearly see what is needed.
  • Captions: I used captions to highlight keywords that may be useful for future reference, such as to look something up.
  • Integration of other concepts: I also integrated terms that are related to mathematics (midpoint, vertical line) and highlighted these definitions along with the audio so that the words would stand out. This will help students realize that the information may be useful to them later.
  • Sample: Not only did I use step-by-step instruction, but I also showed my own sample so that students can understand that they have free use of their imagination and can decorate however they want.
I hope you enjoyed the video! Even though I hate hearing myself...and seeing myself...xD
